Overview:
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is hiring a Nocturnist at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. Accommodating more than 250,000 outpatient visits, and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. Responsibilities:
Medical Management and care of patients in the Medicine Inpatient units
Medical management of patients awaiting admission to Medicine Inpatient Units in the Emergency Department and Designated patient hold areas
Attend to consultations and referrals as needed
Provide education and training to resident, medical student staff and junior members of the medical team
Collaboration with facilty-wide departments as required
Participation in hospital wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Current or pending NYS license
Active DEA license
Cultural sensitivity and experience treating a diverse patient population preferred
