How you make a difference:

The Vice President of Procurement is responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement strategy, operations, and policies for the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the company maintains a reliable supply chain, secures high-quality products and services, and achieves cost efficiencies while adhering to regulatory and ethical standards. This position will lead a team of procurement professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Clinical Operations, to support the company's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on cost reduction, supply chain optimization, and quality improvement.

Lead supplier relationship management, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and risk mitigation to ensure reliable supply and service levels.

Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, and contract renegotiation while collaborating with Finance on budget management.

Monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with contracts, service level agreements, and healthcare industry regulations.

Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance procurement processes, improve decision-making, and implement risk management practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Strong knowledge of procurement principles, strategies, and best practices.

Proven track record of leading successful procurement initiatives, achieving cost savings, and improving operational efficiency.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
