Overview:

Rapiscan, an OSI Systems Company is seeking a Director, Training Programs based out of Billerica, MA.

Be a part of our mission to provide our customers with best-in-class cargo and vehicle screening systems and services so they can combat terrorism, trade fraud, drug and weapon smuggling, and illegal immigration.

The Training Programs Director will lead and supervise the training department and its global training projects from proposal phase to design and delivery, ensuring compliance with contracts and achievement of financial goals, as well as collaborate with the business development team to create and support the sale of new training solutions.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the training project managers, training development lead and trainers to make sure all training projects meet the deadlines and contract terms. 

Report to Senior Management on the Project's status, problems, and progress through Project Reviews and updates. 

Manage the following aspects of the Project:Overall, Scope of Supply

Financial Planning

Contract Milestones and Deliverables

Ensure successful delivery of all training services and products per contract terms.

Manage Training Quotations and Proposals, providing cost estimates and scope.

Manage the global training bookings and sales forecast.

Drive to meet Training Revenue targets and coordinates closely with the Finance Dept.

Lead the global training team to identify new training revenue growth opportunities and implement targeted sales/marketing efforts

Manage Independent 3rd Party Training Sub-contractors.

Travel as required.

Uphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork

Demonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct

It is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem

Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business/science/engineering/education or equivalent industry experience could be considered in lieu of a degree.

10+ years of experience in related field.

Knowledge of X-ray imaging/security systems is a plus but not mandatory.

Knowledge of high energy cargo imaging/security systems is a plus but not mandatory.
