Overview:

Dental Solutions-Cedarbrook, is hiring a Dental Hygienist for our office located in Wyncote, PA 19095. This is a full-time position working Mon-Thur (8:45-5:00) and every other Friday (7:45-2:00).

Dental Solutions is a well-established, successful practice, where we truly value our hygienists and the important role they play in our success.  To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will go through a short training program, so when they begin to see patients, they will feel confident and comfortable in their new position within our team.  

We also strive to keep up with the latest technology.  We're currently utilizing digital x-rays, Itero Scanners & CT scanners and we have more new technology just around the corner.  We will also be adding Guided Biofilm Therapy and Overjet AI in the near future.  If keeping up with the latest technology is important to you, this is the office for you!

Previous experience is always a plus but we also encourage new hygiene graduates, to apply as well.  The hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of PA.  New grads must be applying for license soon.  Local anesthesia license is also preferred.  

Responsibilities:

Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times 

Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.

Patient screening, medical history and dental charting. 

Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line. 

Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease. 

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Active Hygiene license for the state of Pennsylvania

Strong verbal and written communication skills
