Katzen Eye Care & Laser Center is searching for an energetic, patient focused, team oriented Supervisor for our multi-specialty ophthalmology practice in Boynton Beach,  Florida. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience, ideally within a medical or optometry/ophthalmology practice.

As a Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our department/team. You will be responsible for leading a team of employees, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure that they meet and exceed performance targets. Your role will be instrumental in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and mentor a team of employees, fostering a collaborative and results-driven atmosphere

Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to team members

Set clear performance goals and expectations for team members, regularly assess their performance, and provide constructive feedback

Coordinate and oversee daily operations, including scheduling, task assignments, and workload distribution

Monitor and ensure the quality of work produced by the team and take corrective actions when necessary to maintain high standards

Identify training needs and provide ongoing training and development opportunities to team members

Address and resolve operational issues and conflicts within the team, seeking solutions to improve efficiency and productivity

Ensure that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed, promoting a safe working environment

Facilitate effective communication within the team and between departments, promoting transparency and cooperation

Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and workflows, implementing best practices and innovative solutions

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Supervisor or similar role in healthcare

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
