The Nurse Manager’s primary duty is to ensure high quality patient care through leadership and evaluation of all clinical employees.

Responsibilities:

Organizes employee training and motivational activities.

Monthly education activities to meet regulatory requirements.

Organized annual BLS and biannual ACLS training.

Monitors SPD for compliance with standards and facility policies.

Responsible for the direct supervision of clinical staff and quality of patient care.

Responsible for the counseling of clinical employees with direction from ASC  administrator.

Orientation and training of clinical staff.

Staff Vaccination tracking and NSHN reporting.

Annual employee competencies and performance evaluation.

Clinical staffing work schedules and daily assignments.

Participates in QAPI activities at the direction of the ASC administrator.

Ensures compliance with corporate policies.

Completion of one annual quality study.

Medication Ordering and monitoring expirations.

Scheduling of pharmacy inspections and implementation of recommendations.

Participates in the activities of recruiting, selection, of clinical staff.

Provide appropriate personnel/resources to conduct facility activities.

Plans and coordinates quarterly core/MH drills.

Reports to the ASC administrator

Qualifications:

Must be a Registered Nurse licensed to practice nursing in the state of the practice applying to

Must hold a BSN or ADN degree. CNOR is preferred

At least 2 years of progressive leadership experience in a health care facility

Preference will be given to candidates with: Peri-operative or operating room experience

BLS certification and ACLS certification required

Must be able to work Monday through Friday days 

Clinical role up to 80%-100% of the work day as determined by daily staffing levels and patient volume

Compensation range $105,000 - $115,000
