Overview:

INTERNSHIP TIMING & COMPENSATION

Schedule: Availability for 30+ hours/week preferred. Can be flexible to accommodate class schedule. Regular workdays and shift would fall within standard business hours (Weekdays 9:00AM-5:30PM +/- 1 hour) with some opportunity for evening hours as needed.

Duration: November 4th, 2024 – May 9th, 2025

Pay: $15.00/hour

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Jr. HR Generalist, the Talent Acquisition Intern will be responsible for full-cycle recruitment for the Customer Service, Sales, and Fulfillment departments, ensuring Turn5’s peak season hiring needs are met in real time.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Post current openings and refresh job postings to ensure a constant stream of candidates

Source candidates on Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards to increase applicant flow and hiring event attendance

Conduct initial screening of resumes and applications

Schedule and conduct phone screens and onsite interviews

Follow up with candidates in a timely manner regarding recruiting status, utilizing Applicant Tracking System to fullest potential

Work closely with the Jr. HR Generalist and Talent Acquisition Specialist to find additional avenues or ways to attract people to open positions

Prepare offer letters, schedule pre-employment screenings, complete new hire paperwork, and correspond with new hires regarding onboarding process

Conduct in-person new hire orientation

Perform other projects and duties as assigned

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEGE (Special skills, knowledge of machines, procedures, etc.)

Must have or have the ability to acquire a strong understanding of recruitment and pipeline development.

Intermediate interviewing skills preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Computer proficient.

Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required.

Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Experience: 1+ year experience in corporate recruiting, agency recruiting, or HR related field preferred but not required.

Reliable form of transportation to locations in Paoli and Malvern, PA with ability to work onsite ~6 days/month to assist with hiring events and onsite interviews. Onsite work requirements may be adjusted based on business needs.

Visual and hearing capability.

Ability to sit for long periods of time.

Ability to maintain attendance as defined by company policy.
