Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Primary Job Role

Conducts all assigned work in a safe manner, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental and contamination control policies, procedures and regulations. Wears proper personal protective equipment.

Maintains an accurate inventory of company-owned tools and related equipment, dispatching tools as needed, and becoming familiar with how tools and equipment are used within the service department in order to provide repair, maintenance and calibration recommendations.

Maintains company-designated process/system for check-in and check-out process for tool in the facility as well as to and from other branches.

Conducts a complete physical inventory of the shop and vehicle tools, twice a year.

Cleans and organizes tool area(s) in a manner that supports efficient utilization and inventory of tools and equipment.

Keeps abreast of newly designed tooling in the industry. Researches needed tooling and works as purchasing agent on specialized tooling.

Maintains inventory of consumable items and issues them to technicians.

Evaluates broken tooling using repair vs replace assessment. Conducts repairs using industry-standard practices.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

Formal Education High School diploma or GED

Experience 1-2 years

Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.

Basic computer skills.
