A Typical Day:

The MERS Administrator is responsible for performing MERS (Mortgage Electronic Registration System) related functions timely and accurately, in accordance with MERS Rules and MERS policy and procedures. As the Administrator, you will also be responsible for monitoring and managing the Transfer of Service (TOS) and Transfer of Beneficiary (TOB) for all acquisitions.   

The MERS Administrator will:

Perform functions within the MERS system (i.e. registrations, deactivations, TOS, and TOB) timely and accurately

Monitor and manage the volume for all acquisitions, and perform TOS and TOB processes, remaining in compliance with MERS rules and regulations

Actively interact with the Servicing Transfer Management team with regards to acquisitions

Maintain a responsible, courteous and professional relationship with other MERS members (lenders, servicers, investors, etc.)

Complete MERS loan identification number (MIN level) research for any escalated MERS related inquiry

Review all internal MERS reports, and execute all necessary updates to the MERS system daily

Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

What You’ll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

1+ years of mortgage or finance industry experience, preferably in loan servicing with MERS knowledge and in a high pace, customer service oriented operation

Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently within set policies and procedures

Ability to train and be trained on various lien release-related tasks

Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:

Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role

Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role 

Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role 

Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. 

Salary:

$39,000 - $55,000
