Description:

Be a part of creating meaningful, independent and productive lives for children and adolescents with behavioral health issues who are enrolled in the Florida KidCare health insurance program and reside in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, or Brevard County, Florida. We have a current opening for a Full-Time BNet Case Manager. The BNet Case Manager position will allow you to find purpose and give you room to grow in the largest not-for-profit provider of services to children and families in Florida.

The BNet Case Manager works with children with behavioral health needs who are enrolled in the Florida KidCare health insurance program.  The BNet Case Manager coordinates the services needed to assist the child, family, and other caregivers, working towards the goal of helping children reach their full potential. BNet Case Manager Responsibilities include: 

Communicate with client, family, medical and behavioral healthcare providers, school staff, etc. to develop individualized service plans and to communicate client progress.

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments with clients and families.

Link clients with community resources to address needs identified as treatment goals and counsel clients according to service plan goals and objective.

Document all casework and services in clients’ clinical records in a timely manner.

Conduct home visits based on individual child and family need.

Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and prepare periodical progress report.

Attend meetings as requested with multidisciplinary team, continuing education, and staff in-service training programs.

Position Details:

Salary:  Starts at $18.50 - 21.64 / hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience)

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Social Work and experience in the field is required

Master's degree is preferred

CBHCM certification preferred

Experience:

Two years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families Require

Strong verbal and written communication skill

Technological skills and experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook

Ability to appropriately handle confidential information

Awareness of the social, economic, and cultural factors that affect families

Ability to travel and make home visits

Ability to set appropriate boundaries with clients and their families

Ability to work flexible hours

Ability to interact professionally with other agency personnel, community providers, GALS, attorneys, judges, school personnel, etc.

Other Requirements:

Valid FL State Issued Driver's license

Must be willing to meet clients in community setting as this position is based out of a Community Center.

Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test, TB Test.
