Minimum Rate Per Hour: $32

Maximum Rate Per Hour: $53

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC), you will oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include conducting detailed patient assessments, recognizing health issues, creating and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient responses.

What You'll Do:

Conduct thorough clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, and create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

Build therapeutic relationships with patients and families, managing discomfort and maintaining professionalism.

Educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare decisions.

Work collaboratively with colleagues and the community to develop and implement effective care plans.

Delegate tasks carefully and ensure follow-up to maintain safety, effectiveness, and efficiency in patient care.

Solve problems efficiently, recognizing limitations and prioritizing patient safety and quality care.

Foster teamwork, recognize contributions, and commit to personal and professional growth.

What Will Make You Successful In The Role:

A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, procedures, and hospital rules.

Proficiency in medical terminology, with a focus on health, disease prevention, and management.

Respect for medical and professional nursing ethics, including patient privacy rights.

Exceptional communication skills for clear verbal and written expression.

Strong social skills for interacting with a diverse range of individuals.

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and critical thinking skills.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, information security, electronic medical documentation, and email.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

Specialized field of study: Nursing

Current and valid nursing license

Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role
