We are seeking a Field Service Controls Engineer with a basic working knowledge of Robot/PLC/vision/pneumatics systems. The ideal candidate should have the ability to read Mechanical and Control Drawings, as well as possess knowledge on sensor types and settings.
This position is open only to U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents (green card holders) due to the nature of the work and compliance with federal regulations.
The role requires application-specific experience in Material Handling Conveyor Systems, Robotics Systems with Material Handling, and Gantry Systems. The candidate should be able to work independently and must be willing to travel at least 50% of the time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain Robot/PLC/vision/pneumatics systems
- Read and interpret Mechanical and Control Drawings
- Configure sensor types and settings for optimal performance
- Provide hands-on support for Material Handling Conveyor Systems, Robotics Systems with Material Handling, and Gantry Systems
- Independently manage service calls and on-site visits
- Travel to customer sites as needed to deliver field service support
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge (not expertise) of Robot/PLC/vision/pneumatics systems
- Ability to read Mechanical and Control Drawings
- Familiarity with sensor types and settings
- Experience with Material Handling Conveyor Systems, Robotics Systems with Material Handling, and Gantry Systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time
