A prestigious international law firm is seeking an experienced associate to join the Labor, Employment and Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in their dynamic Portland office. The ideal candidate will have 6 plus years of litigation experience on a wide range of employment issues including wage & hour and single plaintiff discrimination/harassment matters.  The candidate will also draft and review employment policies and employment-related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements. The candidate would also work on the labor and employment aspects of business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions. Finally, prior experience with traditional labor relations is a plus but not required. The candidate would be licensed in Oregon or eligible to license in Oregon. Washington and CA (with PAGA experience) license are a plus.

Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong academic credentials are required, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.

Base Compensation $230,000- $290,000 / year
