BRX Performance is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Associate Baseball Performance Coach to join our dynamic team. As an Associate Baseball Performance Coach, you will work closely with our experienced coaches to help athletes achieve their highest potential in baseball through personalized training programs and expert guidance.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the development and execution of individualized strength and conditioning regimes for baseball players, taking into account their unique requirements and objectives.
Support our team of performance specialists and senior performance specialists in conducting athlete assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize performance and reduce the risk of injuries.
Provide coaching and instruction during training sessions, ensuring athletes are performing exercises with proper form, intensity, and progression.
Collaborate with other coaches and performance staff to create integrated training programs that address athletes' overall development.
Assist in tracking and monitoring athletes' progress, using performance metrics and testing protocols to evaluate their development and make necessary adjustments to training programs.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in strength and conditioning, sports science research, and baseball-specific training methodologies.
Build positive relationships with athletes, offering support, motivation, and guidance throughout their training journey.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field.
Certification from a recognized strength and conditioning organization (e.g., CSCS, NSCA-CPT, or equivalent).
Prior experience or playing background in baseball is preferred.
Knowledge of baseball-specific movement patterns and performance requirements.
Understanding of injury prevention strategies and basic corrective exercises for baseball athletes.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with athletes and coaches.
Passion for sports performance training and helping athletes reach their full potential.
Proficient in using technology for data tracking and analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
Benefits
Salary BOE: $40,000-$50,000
Revenue Sharing Bonuses: 12-month OTE income: $65,000-$75,000
