As a full-service home care & hospice agency providing a broad range of services to our customers, we are currently seeking a qualified and professional part-time COTA to care for our patients and become a valued member our team. We are therapist owned and operated, and our team enjoys a flexible schedule, a supportive work environment filled with people who collaborate to provide the highest standard of care for our clientele.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working directly with the patients to create trusting relationships

Assisting patients with the therapy plan of care created by an Occupational Therapist

Helping patients develop, recover, and improve ADLs

Providing rehabilitation for patients suffering from various diagnoses affecting ADLs

Completing required documentation in a timely and detailed manner

Ability to successfully collaborate with the interdisciplinary team dedicated to each patient's care plan

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an institution accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association

Current New Mexico License

One year of experience preferred

Reliable, insured transportation & a valid driver's license
