Corp Talent Resources is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a passionate Registered Nurse - Director of Surgical Services to join our esteemed healthcare partner. In this integral position, you will be responsible for the overall management of the Surgical Services department, leading a dedicated team to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality surgical care. This role is key in fostering an environment where patient-centered care and excellence in surgical outcomes are the top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and direct all aspects of the Surgical Services department, including staffing, budgeting, and surgical operations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and implementation of safety protocols.
Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute optimal surgical care strategies.
Mentor and lead nursing staff, providing support for professional growth and development.
Monitor performance metrics, driving quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Manage resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring the department operates within budgetary constraints.
Foster a collaborative team environment that prioritizes quality patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor's degree in nursing required
A minimum of 5 years of Leadership experience in Surgical Services (Director Level or Nurse Manager in an acute hospital setting (surgery center experience WILL NOT BE REQUIRED for this position)
Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred
A valid FL state RN license of Multi-State Compact License
Certified Nursing Operating Room (CNOR) preferred
Certified Surgical Services Manager (CSSM) preferred
