The Manager will serve as a content specialist on the Global Medical Communications team, helping to transform/create content and develop digital strategies that emphasize visually engaging and interactive assets and targeted distribution methods.  The individual will work closely with the entire Global Medical Affairs organization, particularly within Global Medical Communications, Medical Strategy/Alignment, Medical Information, and Scientific Training to develop and implement communications tactics.

Key Responsibilities

Develop external materials/medical assets, including, but not limited to, field medical slide decks, congress/booth materials, one-pagers, and other relevant external materials.

Leverage knowledge at the intersection of strategic medical communications and digital technology to support communication strategy and content development for Global Medical Communications.

Develop and maintain a process for storing, organizing, and accessing resources (e.g. Microsoft Teams or SharePoint).

Partner with and manage vendors to develop and support digitally innovate and impactful projects that are strategically targeted to meet business objectives.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.

Advanced degree in Life Sciences (PhD/PharmD/MD/MSN) is required.

Expertise in conceptualizing, developing, and executing medical communications projects.

Experience with the dynamic digital landscape of organizations and familiarity of best technology and process optimization practices is preferred.

2+ years of experience in digital marketing/communications within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries is preferred.

Experience in rare disease and/or endocrinology preferred, but not required.

Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects.

A high level of initiative and self-motivation.

Salary range: $140-155K/year
