Play a key role in the HDD firmware development through cutting-edge design and development that underpins the majority of our HDD firmware.

Develop quality firmware using best practices like Unit Testing, Test Driven Development, and Agile methodologies.

Participate in the development of Build and other firmware tools development.

Collaborate with a team of Firmware Developers that are responsible for generating optimal firmware solutions.

Debug firmware issues in a complex embedded system using emulators, scripts, and internal tools.

Opportunity to have direct hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.

Develop the Storage firmware and deliver next generation Enterprise Storage Products to market.

Develop algorithms for modules and to align with customer requirements through utilizing software analysis skills.

Implement unit level bench testing framework in C++ programming language and develop extensive unit testing to provide a mature and stable code base.

Implement and debug Enterprise Storage Products firmware features in C++ language for Platform Storage products and create extensive firmware designs.

Identify and resolve design issues by working with HDD Firmware, Servo, and/or Test teams.

Advise on triage issues in the field and offer solutions to bugs.

Perform in-depth analysis for the issues reported by the customer by updating the bug ticket with information.

Debug firmware in a complex embedded system using emulators, scripts, internal tools, and/or emulator traces and provide root cause analysis of the failures.

Develop and modify TCL and Python scripts to analyze traces during FA.

Work closely with the Quality team to perform full qualification and resolution of the bug ticket.
