About Buildings + Places:
Our Buildings + Places practice includes architecture, interiors, building and system engineering, urbanism and planning (inclusive of landscape design), strategy +, economics, technology solutions, asset advisory, and cost and program management. This diverse team assists our clients from strategy through project realization, creating positive outcomes for those who occupy and use the buildings and environments we help to create. Our Chicago studio focuses on the Commercial/Corporate, Science and Technology, Higher Education, and Federal market sectors. We look to combine beauty, sustainability, resiliency, equity, and innovation in our projects and believe these values can be instilled in any project regardless of size or budget.
Some of our recent projects include the Shell Technology Center Campus Revisioning, the City of Chicago Joint Public Safety Training Campus, the Illinois Autonomous and Connected Track, and a new corporate global headquarters. Our Chicago studio also designs all the AECOM offices, nationally.
AECOM is seeking an Interior Design Intern to be based in Chicago, IL
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
Performs entry-level work.
Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
