Job Description
AECOM is seeking a talented and highly motivated Engineering Intern to join the Transportation team in the Middleton, Wisconsin office.
Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning.
This position is expected to begin in June 2025.
The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:
Prepare structural and civil design calculations and drawings for Bridges, Culverts, Roadways, and Retaining walls.
Design for municipal infrastructure using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
Prepare documentation for design projects and reports.
Undertake quality control procedures.
Assures that engineering-related issues are promptly relayed to the Project Manager for action and follow-up to ensure timeliness of resolution efforts.
