We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of saws to cut materials according to specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e., drawings, specifications, etc.)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Set up, operate and maintain a variety of saws
- Use manufacturing paperwork (travelers, blueprints, sketches, etc.) to manufacture product that meets quality requirements
- Correctly process work via required paperwork and MRP system
- Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Understanding and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED with experience or vocational/technical certification required
- 2+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Machine Operator in an Industrial environment
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Mechanical ability and knowledge of tools
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematics skills
- Well-versed in reading blueprints, using measuring devices such as micrometer, caliper
Work Schedule
1st shift: 11:30am-8pm Monday-Friday
Pay Rate: $20
Requirements
- Passed Physical test
- Vision-passes 20/20 Corrective Vision
- Drug Screening passed
- E-verify
