The HEARING INSTRUMENT SPECIALISTrole entails a range of responsibilities focused on delivering comprehensive hearing healthcare services for adult patients.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with hearing loss according to audiological best practices.
* Develop individualized treatment plans for adult patients to address their unique needs and improve overall hearing health.
* Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and provide counseling on hearing loss management.
* Recommend appropriate hearing aids or assistive devices based on patient needs.
* Perform hearing aid fittings and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as required.
REQUIREMENTS
* BC-HIS or HIS
* Current Washington state licensure or eligibility for Hearing Aid Dispensing licensure.
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent time management and organization skills
