Senior Tax Accountant Trusts and Estates (hybrid)
Only candidates with a US work permit will be considered.
We are looking for a full-time Senior Tax Accountant Trusts and Estates (hybrid) to join our team as a strategic and collaborative partner to the Management Team.
This role is responsible for supporting the management of all trust, estate, and gift tax returns across the firm.
Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing the estate and trust department, including supervising staff members.
Help manage and monitor deadlines for tax return submissions.
Analyze estate and trust documents to ensure accurate tax filings.
Prepare and review estate, trust, and gift tax returns.
Prepare and review individual income tax returns.
Provide support to the administrative department, including assembling and producing completed tax returns and managing extension requests.
Generate E-Filing reports and track outstanding E-File requirements as needed.
Monitor firm budgets against actual client productivity.
Perform additional duties as assigned by partners.
Must Have:
Bachelors degree in accounting.
At least 5 years of experience in preparing and reviewing trust, estate, gift, and individual tax returns.
A minimum of 2 years of experience supervising staff and reviewing tax returns.
