The EMT/ER is responsible for performing receptionist and clerical duties to support the overall operating efficiency and effective communication within the Emergency Room department. Key responsibilities include:
Supply Management:
Order supplies and troubleshoot supply issues as needed.
Stock and maintain supplies in patient care areas.
Troubleshoot and escalate supply chain issues when necessary.
Facility Maintenance:
Clean and disinfect patient care areas and equipment.
Manage all clinical waste to ensure proper disposal.
Clinical Support:
Perform basic prescribed standard non-invasive cardiovascular procedures in accordance with department policies.
Customer Service:
Attend to customers and answer telephones in a courteous and timely manner.
Serve as a liaison between customers and the pharmacist.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience or training in non-invasive cardiology procedures.
Licenses and Certificates Required:
License: AK CNA license OR EMT-1 national certification.
Certificates: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Relocation Assistance:
