Job Description: The firm is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join their team in a leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of audit experience and a strong background in public accounting. This position will oversee client engagements, ensuring adherence to auditing standards, and expanding client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Manage and perform audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse client base.
Oversee all phases of engagements, from planning to the release of financial statements, ensuring quality control procedures are followed.
Coordinate with senior leadership on engagement progress and client communications.
Provide mentorship and guidance to audit staff, conducting performance reviews and supporting professional development.
Develop a deep understanding of clients' industries, recognizing key performance indicators and emerging trends.
Maintain ongoing client relationships, understanding their business developments and assessing their impact on audit engagements.
Participate in networking activities and maintain professional contacts.
Support firm management in policy and procedure decisions, ensuring alignment with team goals.
Potential travel up to 20%.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Masters degree in Accounting preferred.
Active CPA license required.
Minimum of 6 years of recent public accounting experience.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary ($130-$160k) with eligibility for annual bonuses.
