Overview:

The Wealth Estate Administrator is responsible for Estate and Post Death services among all regional fiduciary services providers.  The ability to balance new business activities and servicing of existing relationships will be critical in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Ongoing development and execution of a business plan to achieve new business development, client referral objectives.

Deliver a distinctive client experience that leverages our unique value proposition through Estate and Post Death administration services.

Manage inherent risks by adhering to internal policies and procedures, regulatory and statutory requirements and exercising sound judgment.

Gather necessary documents, including all wills, trusts, tax returns and life insurance policies.

Prepare a complete inventory of decedent’s assets and liabilities; inventory safe deposit box.

Responsible for proper distribution of decedent’s tangible personal property including arrangements for appraisals, specific bequests, sale and disposal of those items.

Oversee proper maintenance of real estate in preparation for sale and coordinate all aspects of the sales with appropriate parties.

Determine the estates rights and responsibilities related to ownership in a private company, closely held interests, etc.

Coordinate the handling of all tax-related including the filing of all final income, fiduciary and other applicable tax

Prepare the final account and oversee the distribution of all remaining assets among beneficiaries or heirs-at-law.

Job Requirements – Education, Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor’s Degree required with a minimum of 5 – 10 years of related compliance and/or enterprise risk management work experience within financial services required.

Understanding of functional and technical key business drivers.

Fundamental understanding of the various business lines and operational functions within a financial services institution.

Excellent oral and written communication skills; proven organizational, analytical and follow up skills

Proficient with MS Office Suite of products, trust accounting systems and bank operating systems

Exemplary consultative skills, excellent interpersonal skills, a high degree of business professionalism, initiative and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize without sacrificing quality

Superior analytical and strategic capabilities.
