Overview:

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Team Lead position will train new case management staff and serve as point person for procedural questions pertaining to the Children’s Case Management specific program in Behavioral Health.  Duties include daily oversight of Case Management staff, monitoring and tracking referrals to High Needs Case Management and Non-High Needs Case Management ensuring the Child and Family Team process is initiated and completed, coordination of care with DCS and other outside stake holders, ensuring staff are documenting case management activities in the EMR/Next Gen, and helping case management/clinical staff navigate the system.  The team lead will work closely with his/her direct supervisor to help the team maintain clinical best practices and integrity, while providing services to clients in a timely manner.  Administrative duties of this position include unlocking visits in NextGen.  





Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of Children’s Case Managers to include High Needs Case Managers and Non High Needs Case Managers.

Troubleshoots and helps Case Managers navigate Next Gen.

Collaborates with and maintains relationships with sister Behavioral Health Agencies, DCS and other involved stake holders to ensure clinically appropriate and timely service provision.

Ensures Case Management staff document encounters/ progress on assigned cases and assists Clinical Manager with

assessing the support needs of clinical staff.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related

field.

2 to 4 years’ experience as a direct service provider in a Behavioral Health setting.

Supervision experience preferred.

Experience working with the Children’s system of care preferred and/or working with teams of case management staff.
