Overview:

IST Management is seeking an Office Services Associate for the Chicago team! The Office Services Associate is responsible for providing Corporate mailroom, backup reception and other support services on-site in a professional team environment. Ideal candidates are customer focused, possess prior relevant experience, are tech savvy, and are willing to train as necessary.

Hourly Compensation: $18.00 - $18.00 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities for the Office Services Associate role include:

Maintain the highest levels of customer care while demonstrating a friendly and cooperative attitude

Mailroom services- scan/sort/delivery of mail and packages throughout site to appropriate personnel

Reception services- backup reception as necessary- answer and direct multi-line phones and direct calls, answer inquiries from customers 

Ordering supplies, maintain supply inventory 

Handle time-sensitive material like confidential, urgent packages

Demonstrate flexibility in satisfying customer demands in a high volume, production environment

Consistently adhere to business procedure guidelines

Take direction from supervisor or site manager

Participate in cross-training; Adhere to all safety procedures; Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

Job Requirements include:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) 

Customer Service/ Hospitality/ Retail background preferred

Professional appearance and demeanor

Keyboarding and windows environment PC skills; Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment

Competency in performing multiple functional tasks; Ability to meet employer's attendance policy

A valid drivers license and/or access to reliable transportation to and from work; Lifting up to 55 pounds, walking and standing for extended periods of time
