Steely is looking for a like-minded individual to join our team as a Logistics Technician.
Our Team embraces the concept that the sky's the limit. Candidates must be able to hold and maintain a security clearance, therefore U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities:
Receives supplies, materials and equipment and checks against packing slips to ensure quantity and quality is correct and undamaged
Prepare and maintain shipping documentation in accordance with procedures
Prepare products for shipment using most economical and efficient packing and shipping methods to ensure safe delivery
Working with Manufacturing staff to ensure minimum stock levels and reorder points are maintained
Maintaining clean and organized inventory stock rooms
Performs timely and efficient movement of inventory and error-free entry of all related transactions into MRP
Researches inventory discrepancies and communicates with team members to resolve issues
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience working with MRP software
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience in supply chain/logistics functions - material planning, inventory management, and transportation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
5+ years work experience in a Logistics/Inventory Control position
