Job Summary: 

The Owners Representative contributes to the overall success of Sabey Data Centers by assisting with the management and oversight of the construction and development of critical support systems. This position also serves as a subject matter expert for Sabey in the management of building systems. The Owners Representative works closely with both the Director of Engineering and the VP, Engineering & Development. 

Your contribution will likely be:   

Demonstrate effective time management skills including planning, priority setting, and multi-tasking.  

Provide technical oversight and guidance.  

Review, recommend, and assist in the implementation of additions, modifications, and improvements to critical support systems.  

Assist in establishing and managing programs to ensure critical support systems achieve financial and operational goals and objectives.  

Assist in developing Basis of Design documents for new construction, addition, and retrofit projects.  

Assist in the Owners representation for new construction, addition, and retrofit projects.  

Assist in managing the commissioning process for new construction, addition, and retrofit projects.  

Assist as a subject matter expert for company in management of building systems.  

Assist in the review and approve facility and equipment designs and submittals.  

Facilitate technical responses to customer RFI’s and RFP’s.  

Collaborate with customers and leasing to assess customer requirements and concerns.  

Stay abreast of industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.  

Provide technical and non-technical support to customers, leasing, and operations for customer build outs.  

Assist in developing and implementing programs to support compliance initiatives.  

Evaluate new technologies.  

Develop innovative solutions to complex problems.  

Other duties, as assigned.  

Experience you will bring to the team: 

4+ years of experience as a Data Center Facilities Engineer in a data center or Data Center Project Management/Construction Management experience or Bachelor’s degree in engineering. 

Advanced knowledge of the English Language – ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal comprehension and expression  

Advanced engineering and mathematical reasoning skills   

Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Microsoft Project  

Proficient at reading building plans  

Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu  

Working knowledge of construction techniques

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $89,862 – $112,328 - $134,793 DOE
