As an Inside Sales Account Executive, you will play an instrumental role in the continued growth of the industry leader in the transportation world. This position will provide the right candidate with the tools and sales knowledge to effectively grow a territory of account, as well as identify potential clients, build relationships, and provide customized solutions for their business needs. Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain an assigned regional territory, book of customers, and meet growth objectives within the account base
Uncover sales opportunities through outbound calls to both new and existing accounts
Develop and utilize sales strategies to draw in potential customers
Create business relationships with customers identifying their potential needs, interests, and viability to drive sales
Perform follow-up calls with customers who have expressed interest
Collaborate with sales team to ensure all goals and targets are met
Research accounts, identify key figures, and generate interest in our Company
Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned region
Be able to multi-task using various systems while collaborating with multiple team members
Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Candidate(s) will be expected to own/assist with customer account maintenance
You will be required to meet/exceed KPI’s such as:
Daily call contact quota (Inbound/Outbound)
Daily Email/customer engagements
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Two to three years of work experience related to sales.
PREREQUISITE KNOWLEDGE
AS400 Experience preferred
Preference will be given to candidate(s) with strong background of prospecting via , or other sales techniques.
Find prospects through networking events, sales intelligence tools, previous account lists and other means.
Meet with prospects to deliver sales pitches and discuss buying options.
Meet with new and existing customers to discuss contract terms and answer any questions about the business.
Inform sales team members of the latest industry trends.
SKILLS
Expertise in sales and prospecting strategies.
Ability to pinpoint prospects who fit company’s .
Thorough understanding of company’s products and services.
Business and financial savvy.
Industry research and analysis skills.
Knowledgeable in latest sales intelligence tools.
