The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious ­­­­­Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Jasper, IN. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:

Support our external customers as you build relationships and act as their trusted advisor.

Retain existing business and grow new business through exceeding customer expectations, timeliness in response, excellent problem resolution, among other service excellence standards 

Assess insurance needs, identify gaps in coverage, and provide recommendations.

Seek opportunities to upsell coverages and cross sell additional policies to complete the client’s coverage and provide peace of mind.

Qualifications:

Three years’ experience in a customer service field

Current Insurance Property & Casualty License or willingness to obtain one within at time of hire

Attention to detail in document preparation, review and follow-up are a must in the day-to-day of this position.

Ability to travel for early career training purposes

Ability to: acquire new accounts and retain existing business, manage and service sales pipeline, communicate effectively (written and verbally), maintain confidentiality, work with speed and accuracy, grasp technical information quickly, and work independently and as a team member.

Ability to: Work with an agency management system, maintain detailed records of client and agent interactions
