The Role

Headlands Research is looking for a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in Plymouth, MA. The ideal candidate is passionate about clinical trials and making a difference and is a team player who can collaborate and move at a fast pace. We are willing to train new graduates and experienced providers without clinical research experience.  

Type: Full-time, 30-40 hours per week

Benefits: Fully benefitted; medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k plan + company match, PTO, + more

Schedule: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am to 4:00pm 

Location: Onsite in Plymouth, MA (no remote opportunities)

Responsibilities:

Provides patient consultations and education in an outpatient setting under the direction of the physician in charge of the clinical trial

Conducts study-related physical exams and follow-up visits

Reviews and adheres to assigned research study protocol

Works with the study-leading physician in evaluation and review of potential study participants’ eligibility

Maintains proper documentation

Ensures that all clinical activities are carried out in accordance with established research protocol and standards in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements

Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members

Reviews lab results imaging reports, and other study-specific reports

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program

Current and unencumbered license to practice as a PA or NP in the state of MA required

New or recent graduates welcomed to apply!

Previous experience in clinical research a plus; experience serving as a sub-investigator on previous clinical trials a huge plus

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
