Compensation - Min: $24.86  Max: $40.09

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The purpose of your position will be achieve the following results:Happy customers* that are using computer systems effectively. Expectations are clear. Communication is positive and sufficient. Feedback is received, documented and used for improvement. Creative solutions are found to make technology more useful. Processes are automated where practical. Customers feel they are effectively using their computer systems.Secure and robust computer systems. Computer strategies for low maintenance are developed, tested, and followed. Troubleshooting is systematic and repairs efficient. Problems are tracked and adequately addressed. Documentation of information systems, equipment and problem resolutions is efficient and easily accessed. Willing and able computer support technician. You are courteous, positive, and friendly. You demonstrate that you care about your customer. You are willing to go the extra-mile. You have the skills and knowledge necessary to handle your primary job responsibilities. You are able to self-train and learn new skills quickly, keeping pace with new technology. You are familiar with and support the vision, values and goals of both the organization and department. You act and communicate effectively and positively with customers and co-workers. You avoid negative conversations and behavior (criticizing, complaining, comparing, competing, and contending). You are teachable, open-minded, quick to forgive, not easily offended, eager to learn, gladly challenged, and a determined problem solver. You are able to stay organized, set goals, clarify expectations, and prioritize effectively.

*Customers are primarily employees of Good Shepherd Health Care System. They also include physicians or other care-givers and their employees. They may also include patients and guests of patients. 

This is an onsite position in Hermiston, OR

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Graduate of an accredited technical or community college with training in computer hardware and software, or an equivalent amount of training.Experience: 3-5 years experience configuring and supporting workstations in an Active Directory environment; 2-3 years experience working helpdesk support; and 2-3 years experience supporting MS Office. Additional experience preferred in the areas of supporting A/V equipment and IT in a healthcare environment. Experience working with Meditech C/S HIS a plus. Physical Requirements: Good general health. Must be able to bend, stoop, reach and occasionally lift 25 pounds or more. Frequent standing and/or walking throughout shift required.Working Conditions: Clean, well-lighted and ventilated work area
