We are currently in search of an experienced part time House Manager for our Brooklyn, MD location on the weekends. The part time House Manager at Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health and all its subsidiaries ("Kolmac" or the "Company") oversees the operations and the daily management of residents living in a sober and supportive residential setting that is part of a comprehensive treatment program at Concerted Care Group (CCG). The part time House Manager works directly under the supervision of the Executive Director and Clinical Supervisor and is part of a team of counselors, therapists, nurses and medical practitioners that provide integrated care for those with dual diagnosis in a comprehensive Intensive Outpatient Program.
Responsibilities:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability required
The part time House Manager serves as a liaison between the IOP House and the IOP treatment program assuring that there is regular and consistent communication between staffs and that clients referred to the house have a smooth and efficient transition
Working closely with ED, Clinical Manager, Peer Specialist and IOP Coordinators for Clients life skills enhancement, job readiness, sober living readiness, coordinating clients that are on probation parole, contacting counselor to provide feedback to counselors
POC for maintenance issues concerning both houses, monitoring of security cameras and identifying things needed at the house to ED, POC for van maintenance (insurance license tags expiration inspections etc.)
Working with SUD counselors to identify potential clients for the men and women’s house
Working with SUD counselors and IOP Coordinator to grow census for IOP Groups
Responsible for planning the trips to the market, retail stores, and other activities for entertainment purposes
Working with ED/CM on staffing schedule for the house managers (FT/PT)
Logs, incident reports and medication management of other scripts clients have and intake process for entry in the house
Schedule peer to come in for evening groups life skills billable services
Manage requests for time off and coverage of house managers (FT/PT), managing payroll submissions and conducting evaluations as scheduled
Coordinates the new intake and referral process of clients entering the house facilitating the assignment of rooms, the client’s orientation to the house, communicating rules and responsibilities and monitoring the patient’s progress
Coordinates the transportation of clients to the Brooklyn Center, medical appointments, community support groups and social and community resources
Coordinates the house’s daily activities – developing programming and special events and maintains a calendar of events and activities (including the scheduling and assignment of chores for residents and staff)
Coordinates the regular scheduling of house meetings
Attends IOP Planning Meetings and Monthly Staff Meeting as requested
Manages the procurement of supplies and equipment needed for the safe and efficient operation of the house
Responsible for communicating needed repairs, maintenance and general upkeep of the house and the assigned vehicle
Is responsible for the flow of communication (including written documentation when required) of all issues, events and situations occurs between the Lead and the House Manager and to the Clinical Supervisor during supervision meetings and whenever pertinent
Assures that there is adequate monitoring of residents, oversight of issues and adherence to policies related to all residents and their status level
Manages and assigns duties to the Peer House Manager
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Preferred completion of a state approved Peer Recovery Program
Valid driver’s license with less than 3 points
Preferred 1-year experience as a house manager
Minimum 2 years of recovery from drugs and alcohol
