Position Description:

Immediate opening! We have an opening for a Class A CDL Regional Truck Driver and we want the right Driver to join us at Ryder in Minneapolis, MN

$1790+ Weekly Average, Driver Positions Pay Weekly

$1,250/wk min guarantee for 5 days worked 

Hourly Pay: $26.00 Per Hour

3 months Flatbed experience required. 

Regional within 300 mile radius of your house, Needs reliable vehicle

Overtime Paid After 40 hours 

Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel OR Sleeper

Per Diem Pay: $50 per night

Schedule: Monday – Friday; Saturdays and Sundays as account needs. Must be Flexible

NST Tenure bonus $1,000 each year when actively employed from Nov 1st – Oct 31st

Sign on bonus $3,000 half $1500 after 30 and after 90 days

Hours per Week: 50 + hours average per week

Trailer Type: Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer

Deliver To: IL, WI, MI, MN, IA, IN, OH and KY

Cannot Accept Auto Restrictions

Freight: Touch/No Touch - Varies by Account, Load Securement – Flatbed Accounts

Comprehensive Benefits start 30 days after hire

Paid Time Off Starts at Day 1 - 80 hours accrued in 1st year 

We Reimburse Cost and Provide Training to Obtain Endorsements

Requirements:

Minimum 21 years of age

Pass a Ryder Drug Test

Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years

Pass a DOT physical

Pass a Ryder road test

Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position

Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle:

9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR

2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR

5 years’ experience within the last 10 years

Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions

Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Important Note:  Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines

Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards Maintaining accurate records and logs

Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer

Performs other duties as assigned
