Overview:

Imagix Dental is looking for a full-time (Mon-Fri, no Weekends) Dental Hygiene Assistant to support for our office located in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal Dental Assistant is preferred to have dental assisting experience with their X-ray license for the state of GA. We are looking for a team player with a compassionate attitude; self-motivated and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

The following dental hygiene assisting duties are noted; however, other duties may be assigned:

Distributes and collects completed documentation from patient including medical history.

Sets up and breaks down treatment rooms, cleans & sterilizes treatment room.

Sterilize & maintain equipment & instruments.

Upholds office policy including HIPAA & OSHA

Greets and escorts patients into operatories and escorts them out.

Performs assigned daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning & maintenance duties.

Reviews medical history and inputs into CPS. Asks initial consult questions from patient, records information and takes intra-oral pictures for doctor.  Fills out exam notes as dictated by doctor.

Ability to take clinically appropriate xrays.

Obtain and review needed consent for patient treatment.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

X-ray certification required for Georgia state.

Completion of a Dental Assisting Program is desirable.
