The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant. Ideal candidates will have prior experience with month-end close, sales & use tax, and reconciliation.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of month-end close, including posing journal entries
Prepare bank reconciliations
Maintain financial reporting including preparing, uploading, and reconciling forms
Manage ROU & Capital Leases
Assist with the preparing of forecasts for budgeting
Assist with fixed asset management
Prepare consolidated financial statements
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education Required:
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
Experience Required:
2+ years of general accounting experience
Experience with month-end close, including posting journal entries
Exposure to sales & use tax
Experience with bank reconciliations
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
