POSITION SUMMARY: It is the responsibility of this role to safely move material within the warehouse and safely stage, load, and unload product from trucks.

Responsibilities:

Follow all established safety procedures in plant and warehouse.

Ensure that forklift is in proper, safe working order and report any issues to supervisor or team lead.

Safely use forklift to transport and stage product in accordance with established procedures.

Safely transfer product from one pallet/tray to another as required.

Safely use forklift to load/unload product into/out of trailers in accordance with established procedures.

Properly and consistently use proper scanning scripts for all movement of product.

Competently utilize JDE system for all paperwork and inventory management.

Correctly select pallet sizes for customers and ensure pallets are kept in the correct location.

Communicate effectively with team members electronically, by phone, and in person.

Perform any other duty as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Valid Forklift Certification (Will be provided by the company.)

Previous forklift experience.

Basic knowledge of inventory systems.

Attention to details.

Strong communication skills.

Must be able to read and complete various forms in writing and on the computer.
