Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Perform routine preventative maintenance, troubleshoot machinery issues, and ensure equipment operates according to manufacturer specifications.

Read and interpret operation manuals, maintain a schedule for inspections, and fabricate parts for repairs and upgrades.

Identify problems using precision measuring instruments, clean and repair equipment, and ensure a safe and organized work area.

Upgrade or convert obsolete electrical components and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs).

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, with completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent education/experience in production maintenance.

Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing with strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and PLCs.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and product manuals.

Experience in machine setup, installation, and troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.

Ability to perform calibrations, installation, and maintenance of process and analytical instrumentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and project management skills.

Experience with inventory control and maintaining continuity among work teams.

Knowledge of safety procedures, ability to work a variable schedule, and proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Physical capability to perform job duties, including lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to high temperatures and moving machinery.
