Position Overview:
The location is in Chico, CA
The working schedule for this role is Day shift, 10 hours, start time 0700-0800; possible float to Med Surg
The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
Vacation requirements are as needed
Guaranteed hours: 40

The pay: $89.75 Hourly ($2,760.00 Taxable, $830.00 Stipend) = $3,590.00 Weekly = $14,360.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
Recording patient vital signs and medical information
Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
Administering non-intravenous medications
Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
Qualifications:
Current and unencumbered RN state licensure
3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
Recent Infusion clinic experience
Chemotherapy certification required with recent chemotherapy administration experience
Four years of acute nursing experience in an Oncology setting required
BLS/BCLS, ACLS certification
Bachelor degree in nursing preferred
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
Basic computer skills
Professional, friendly attitude
