Are you a detail-oriented financial expert with a passion for accuracy and a drive to succeed? Cedar is partnered with a leading organisation based in Borehamwood to support the recruitment of an Interim Group Financial Accountant. This role is offered as a 3 - 6 month contract role, with a daily rate of £400 - £450 (Umbrella), on a hybrid basis.

The Role
As the Group Financial Accountant, you will:
Prepare and review the monthly consolidation pack.
Manage group accounting for lease liabilities (IFRS16) and all interest costs.
Oversee the preparation of weekly group cash flow forecasts.
Produce statutory accounts and manage the year-end process.
Support the external audit process and liaise with auditors.
Ensure compliance with new accounting standards.
Develop and evolve group-wide financial controls, systems, and processes.
Your Profile
You will ideally have:
A formal accountancy qualification, ideally trained in public practice.
Working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
2+ years of post-qualified experience.
Previous experience working at Group level with multi-entity consolidations.
Strong technical proficiency with Excel.
Availability to begin a new role with immediate effect.
Compensation and Benefits
In addition to the daily rate of £400 - £450 (Umbrella), you will be working in a friendly working environment with a team of high-performing professionals.
Their Borehamwood offices are accessible via various public transport routes and they operate a hybrid working model, with the expectation to attend the office 2-3 days per week
