Location: Manchester
Salary: £25,000 – £37,500 PA (Dependent on Experience) + Overtime (Monday - Friday Days) + (Optional Weekend Work)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Field Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of 3rd party equipment on 12-volt and 24-volt vehicles, trailers, and assets across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong automotive electrical expertise and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Fitment and servicing of equipment such as:
Vehicle Tracking & Telematics (CANbus connections / Driver Behaviour)
CCTV systems (Dashcam & Mobile DVR Multi-Cam)
Safety Systems (Side Scan, Audible Manoeuvring Alarms, DVS/PSS as required by TFL)
Lighting Systems (Lightbars, Beacons, Worklights)
In-Cab Terminals, Remote Tacho Download, Trailer EBS & TPMS
Ensure installations meet company standards and customer specifications.
Investigate and diagnose service-related issues with vehicular electrical systems and installed equipment.
Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, ensuring first-class customer service.
Follow all health & safety guidelines on client sites.
Key Accountabilities:
Complete installations to the highest standard.
Maintain exemplary timekeeping and communicate effectively at all levels.
Ensure full compliance with client specifications and internal processes.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience Required:
Experienced Engineer with strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems (12V & 24V).
CANbus system understanding (JBUS & VBUS). Knowledge of Trailer EBS systems is a plus.
Excellent communication skills – able to engage confidently with customers and adhere to client requirements.
Ability to remain professional and lead by example in all situations.
Full clean driving license is essential.
