Mobile Plant Technician
Location: Northwest: Hemel Hempstead

Murphy is looking for an experienced safety consious plant technician, initially depot based(Hemel) before moving to mobile.

A flexible worker who is good at working alone or as part of a team, with a willingness to pass knowledge on to less experiencd employees,
also able to undertake various repairs & maintenance carried out to a high standard on our vast fleet of plant quiptment including but not limited to:

Excavators 1.5T To 36T
Dozers
Dumpers wheeled and tracked from 3T To 30T
Towable & static welfare units
Trailers large/small
Tractors (6 weekly inspection experience a bonus)
Machine attachments (Breakers/Compaction plates) etc
Bowsers static and towable
Compressors static and towable
Pressure washers & dust suppression towable and static
Generators 20-100KVA

Mobile Plant Technician Key Responsibilities & Duties:

The Mobile Plant Fitter will be working on a range of Plant Machinery.
Routine maintenance of heavy plant vehicles and machinery
Repairs as necessary to ensure our equipment is fit for purpose.
Rebuilds
Diagnostics / Fault Finding
Safety inspections.
Experience/Skills:

Knowledge that would be acquired through education to NVQ3 equivalent.
CSCS
Full UK driving licence (Essential)
Commitment to carry out in house Murphy training requirements
