Job Title: Product Developer

Location: Worcester

Salary: up to £30,000 depending on experience

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week

Company Benefits: 25 days holiday, with an extra 5 days after 10 years employment.

Company Pension Scheme, Free onsite parking, opportunity to attend company events

Duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

* Responsible for the creation of detailed product specifications.

* Carry out research into market trends, customer requirements and benchmarking to identify future opportunities

* Analyse sales data to inform new product development to make sure product is viable in terms of cost, profit, and time

* Assist in presenting at sales meetings and product sign off.

* Collaborate with suppliers, and manufacturers to refine designs and source materials.

* Manage the sampling process and coordinate fabric testing.

* Assist Marketing with technical support and ensure it is delivered in line with the launch plan.

Skills and Experience needed:

* A degree in fashion and textiles would be advantageous

* Previous experience within a similar product designer role would be beneficial

* You must possess both a creative flair and technical curiosity.

* Experience of Adobe design package, especially Adobe Illustrator for garment flat CADs.

* Knowledge of textile performance.

* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate with global team.

* Skilled in coordinating multiple projects running alongside each other and attention to detail to look for process efficiencies and cost saving opportunities
