Salary: £40,000-£45,000

Working Pattern: Full Time (flexibility required - 8.00am-5.30pm)

As the Depot Manager, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with UK laws, Health and Safety regulations, and company policies. Oversee and direct the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations
Provide the management team with essential information to operate efficiently
Create and maintain a positive, productive, and safe working environment
Forecast and manage staffing levels to meet business demands
Liaise with senior operational staff for major events, ensuring efficient supply of equipment
Investigate and resolve customer and staff complaints promptly
Continually review warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement
Foster a culture of developing and coaching staff to achieve their maximum potential
Assist in the recruitment, interview, and selection of staff
Monitor warehouse expenditure to remain within budget guidelines
Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure best possible deals and supplySkills and Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures and operations
Experience in planning logistics, staffing levels, and facilities management
Familiarity with high-performance culture and excellent time management skills
Thorough understanding of relevant Health and Safety procedures and Financial Management
Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships
Full, clean driving licenceBehaviours and Competencies:

Adaptable to varying work environments and changing priorities
Analytical thinker, able to evaluate complex scenarios and identify solutions
Compliant and adheres to internal policies and procedures
Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills
