ABC Teachers is currently seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded SEND school in Lichfield, dedicated to supporting students with moderate to complex educational needs.

Role Overview:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored support in both one-on-one and small group settings.
Promote student engagement and participation during lessons.
Create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment that encourages growth and independence for all students.
Long-term positions available, beginning in October 2024.

About You:

We are looking for candidates who:

Have relevant experience supporting students with autism and moderate learning difficulties (MLD).
Demonstrate strong communication and behaviour management skills.
Are dedicated, compassionate, and eager to go the extra mile to support the students in your care.
Can provide appropriate references and pass a DBS check.
All staff we register will undergo thorough interviews, referencing checks, and must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service.
