Responsibilities:
Work closely with teachers to support children with severe and complex needs, including those with physical, emotional, and learning disabilities.
Assist in delivering tailored learning plans, sensory activities, and therapeutic interventions.
Provide one-on-one support where necessary to ensure the safety, well-being, and educational development of each student.
Foster an environment that promotes independence, communication, and positive behaviour.
Help with personal care tasks such as feeding, changing, and mobility assistance, as required.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to assessments and reviews.
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
A caring, patient, and resilient attitude with a commitment to supporting students' physical and emotional well-being.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with staff, therapists, and families.
Ability to adapt quickly and respond to the individual needs of each student in a flexible and proactive manner.Interested?
