Layn Developments offers a full spectrum of construction and maintenance services ranging from project works to routine and reactive maintenance. This is a varied role that covers sites at motorway services, concessions, shops, restaurants and garden centres.

Layn Developments offers a competitive salary, as well as weekend and out-of-hours bonuses.

Layn Developments (part of the Layn Group) based in Cambridgeshire is a national company. However for this role, the successful candidate will be based from their home address and will be asked to travel to sites. A company vehicle will be provided for this purpose and travel time will be paid for.

Description of role:

* Assist with various tasks as directed by the supervisor.

* Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

* Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the site.

* Using a mobile phone to manage and record daily work.

Skills required:

A self-motivated, conscientious person with a ‘can do' attitude.

First class organisational and time management skills.

Be able to work under your own initiative and also as part of a larger team.

A well-presented professional who takes pride in every job they do.

Full UK driving licence (Company Van + Fuel card is provided for this role)

Happy to travel with the occasional stay away
