A Lloyd's Market Syndicate are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis to assist in the automating and streamlining of operations as well as development processes.

In the role, you will be working within a small DevOps team that works autonomously within the business to build and maintain tools for deployment. You will be involved with automating, maintaining infrastructure, creating deployment strategies, working on code and cluster management, as well as help create custom virtual machine images. As a senior member of the team, you will also be assisting in the leading and mentoring of junior team members and participating in scrums. Our client works with Azure, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Terraform, Powershell and Packer.

The ideal candidate would have experience in:

IaaS and PaaS platforms using Terraform.
Azure Cloud Services.
Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Creating custom VM images with Packer.
PowerShell Scripting.
Test automation.
Containerization with RedHat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes.
Azure Networking.
Designing and architecting complex environments.

Beneficial experience includes:

Knowledge of Log Analytics, Microsoft Security Center, and Sentinel is a plus.
Insurance/Lloyd's Market experience.
